Lake Of The Woods 5k & 50k

LOW50k Runners!

We are so excited for our 3rd Annual Lake Of The Woods 5k & 50K! January 20th!

The race will begin at 7:50am (5k) & 8am (50k) on Saturday January 20th, located at the Lake Of The Woods Camp Grounds (3939 Swartzel Rd Farmersville, Ohio 45325).

Every runner who signs up for the 5k or 50k will get an official 2024 LOW50k poster, a LOW50k water bottle, and a finishers medal included with sign up!
Runners will line up outside of the clubhouse/main aid station area near the lake, and take off on a 5k looped course. Runners participating in the 5k will stop after one loop and runners participating in the 50k will go out for 10 loops. An award ceremony for each running event will be held as the majority of runners finish their respective races.

The course loops through the woods and around the lake. The trails are wide and very passable. The course does feature hills and a creek crossing (Not deep). Map and course video coming soon.

The campground features a clubhouse as our ‘warm up room’ and an outdoor shelter that will serve as the main aid station. Other race features include a large bonfire area for outdoor warm ups, 2 on course aid stations, heated bathrooms and shower area, and vegetable soup served all day at the main aid station.
Official race Beanie hats will be $18 and will be available for pre-order up until December 31st! Extra hats will be sold on the online store until supplies run out! This does not guarantee there will be hats left over on race day!

50k Registration:
-Early bird $50 (deadline 11/25/23)
-$65 (11/26/23 through 1/20/24)

-Packet pick up begins at 6:30AM
-5k begins at 7:50AM (10 minutes before 50k start)
-50k begins at 8AM
-50k ends at 6pm (10 hour cutoff)
-Indoor Bathrooms are located near the main aid station shelter
-Two aid stations will be on the course.
-This event is rain or shine (or snow)
-Parking can be located at the campground. Enter the main entrance gate then follow the road ahead as it curves to the right, make a right at the intersection and park along the front field. You will need to walk less than a quarter mile to the clubhouse. Follow the arrows.

We expect amazing finishes, tough trails, and maybe even a Bigfoot sighting or two....
