Saturday is host to the Lake Sonoma 50 Mile, and Sunday will be the inaugural Lake Sonoma 100k. Back to back epic races!
Trail love! Once chosen from the lottery no credit cards will be charged until Valentines day 2021!
Known to be “relentless” this race sends runners through 62 miles of rolling single track trails, water crossings and boasts over 12,000 ft of elevation gain. As a nod to its past, the Lake Sonoma 100k is committed to being not only a prestigious race in its own right, but a place for elite athletes, and age group runners to prep for their late season races like Western States Endurance Run, Ultra Trail Mont Blanc, and Comrades. Community is a key driver in this race. The Lake Sonoma 100k will be driven to provide access and opportunities to local Wine Country Youth by providing a portion of its net proceeds to The Children of Vineyard Workers Scholarship Fund.
Race Director Keira Henninger brings to life this Western States Endurance Race 2022 qualifying race, a course that promises more elevation, and more fun.
This Race Series is full of surprises in 2021 and not just on course. With the races offering Platinum, Diamond, and Silver Tickets to winners, this weekend promises not the disappoint. Building off of the legendary Race Awards celebration that The Lake Sonoma 50 has held for years, the entire race series will follow suit and offer an awards gala in the scenic backdrop of Wine Country that offers world class wine and food, making winning those Tickets so much sweeter. In addition to the races and the awards gala, the weekend is home to over 20 activities, and featuring over 20 sponsors promising to entertain family, friends, crew, and runners alike.
