Lake Superior Shore Run

Half Marathon, 5K and 1K Youth Trail Runs at Little Presque Isle: ~5 miles north of Marquette, Michigan. 3 hours from Green Bay & the Mackinac Bridge, 5hours from Milwaukee, WI & Duluth, MN.

Eagle Mine 5k at 11:00am
1k Youth Run will start at 12:00 pm.
*Runners expected to take longer than 2.5 hours are required to start at 9:30.

Awards for top three overall male and female runners, as well as top three winners in age groups. Winners must be present to receive awards.

Sign up as a two-person team to run the Half Marathon Course.

Registration and Packet Pick-up
Packet pick up is Friday, September 16, 4-7 pm at the Marquette Commons, 112 S. Third Street, Marquette. Race Day registration will be accepted on site up to 9:30 am.

Course
Beginning at Little Presque Isle, the half marathon course runs for 1.5 miles along Lake Superior beaches and then passes pristine Harlow Lake. From there it gently winds up 300’ of elevation to views of the Huron Mountain Range from the top of Bareback Ridge. The course then winds back down to Lake Superior for a 1.5 mile stretch of rugged running from Wetmore landing back to the finish at Little Presque Isle. Four aid stations will be spaced out along the course. Some sections of the half marathon course are extreme.
