8th Annual Leftover's 5K Prediction Run/Walk

The event is a 2 loop cross country 5K route at Southside High School. Winners are those who most closely predict their finish time!!!! No watches allowed. Only an approximate 2.5K split time will be read aloud to runners.  The great thing about this race is that it is not about who comes in first but rather who predicts their time correctly.  You can walk or run this course and still WIN!  This is the most fun race of the year!
 

Race Starts at 7:00pm

All registered runners will receive a leftover t-shirt or Race Bag from a previous race.  Some of the t-shirts are dri-fit and some are cotton.  Race day registrations will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.  We will also have some leftover race bags as well as leftover water bottles.

Awards
The top 10 runners that most closely predict their finish times.  The results will be posted to our facebook page (link coming soon) and on go-greenevents after the race has concluded.  Awards can be picked up at Fleet Feet Sports on Augusta Rd.
 
The top 3 overall male and female will be presented at 8pm
The top 3 overall male and female masters will be presented at 8pm
 
RACE FEES:
$10 online until August 2 at 11:59 - at this point online registration closes.
$20 on race day at Southside High School.
5K RACE AMENITIES (you might call it swag, whatever):

Leftover T-shirt from a previously held race. Some T-shirts are technical fabric, and some are cotton - it depends on what's at the top of the pile!
Finishers medal for all finishers! Yes! We have a load of medals from previous events!
RACE-DAY SCHEDULE:

Packet pickup -- 5:30-6:45 pm
Late registration -- 5:30-6:45 pm
Race begins -- 7 pm
 
Proceeds from this race will benefit the Southside High School Cross Country Team!
 
 
Race will sell out.  Register early!!!

This race is walker-friendly.

This race route could be traversed with a stroller, but it'll be pretty bumpy. Do so at your own risk, but not at the risk of your child.

NO WATCHES, iPODS, OR OTHER TIMING DEVICES ALLOWED ON THE COURSE. THE FINISH-LINE CLOCK WILL BE TURNED AWAY FROM RUNNERS AS THEY APPROACH SO AS TO PREVENT FOLKS FROM ALTERING THEIR FINISH/PREDICTION TIMES.

5:30pm-6:45pm at Southside High School

Starting at 5:30 pm on site. Packet will include "leftover" T-shirts or other goodies from previous Greenville Track Club and Upstate races.  This is the most fun you will have at any race all year!

 
$20 for Race Day entry
