About the event
The LizStrong 5k race and 1 mile walk is being organized to rally community support for our dear friend Liz Barton. Liz is a graduate of Longmeadow High School (’86) and has battled cancer successfully for over 10 years now. A single mother of two boys, Liz is working hard to juggle motherhood and an aggressive treatment schedule, including travel back and forth to Boston. The LizStrong 5k is a way the community can help buoy her spirits as she faces new challenges in her illness and help relieve the financial burden she faces.

Cost: 5k - $30 (price increase to $35 on Oct 15) 1 Mile Walk - $20
All who register by Oct 15 get a LizStrong t-shirt
$100 Business sponsorship includes 2 race entries
Awards, refreshments and bake sale immediately following the race.
