Loch Lothian 5K and 10K

About the Course: The Loch Lothian 5K course will take you through some incredible scenery right in the heart of Midlothian. The course begins and ends at Midlothian Middle school and runners will run on roads, sidewalks, paths, bridges, and trails in a unique and varied course. Along the way runners will be exposed to scenery including Loch Lothian, the Midlothian Mines ruins, replica mining headstock, and miles of trails.

About the Cause:  The race proceeds will benefit the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund www.fallenheroes.org The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund serves United States military personnel wounded or injured in service to our nation, and their families. They are, in the words of the founder, the late Zachary Fisher, "our nation's greatest national resource," and they deserve all the help that our nation can provide. 

Each year, the Loch Lothian 5K and 10K picks a different U.S. Military unit to highlight and support. This year, we are supporting the 82nd Airborne Division through the 82ns Airborne Division Association who supports active duty soldiers, families, and veterans of the U.S. military airborne units: http://www.82ndairborneassociation.org/

Runner Perks: Participants who register by Feb 2nd will receive a long-sleeve T-shirt.  After Feb 2nd it will be first come first served until the T-shirts are gone. There will also be some great give-a-ways from our sponsors that we will be announcing as we get closer to the event.

Packet Pick-up: Packet pickup time and location will be published closer to the race.
