Mardi Gras Miles 5K & Fun Run

The 5K will run through the campuses of St. John Paul II school and St. Joseph of the Pines in Southern Pines, NC. The run will combine both road and trail components. Event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and ability levels.  Your dogs are welcome to run along as long as they are on a leash.

The Kids Run for the Beads will be two events, a 10 min. run for age 7 and under and 15 min. for ages 8 and up. The runners will receive a string of beads for each lap that they complete during the time allotted.

Come out and show off your inner “King Rex” or Mardi Gras joker. There will be prizes for the Best Costume and Best Mask.

We hope to continue to encourage health and fitness among children, families and the entire community with our events and others like it throughout the year.Proceeds will go to St. John Paul II Catholic School to benefit its athletic and physical education programs. The goal of both of these programs is to establish and improve healthy lifestyles of our students.
