About the event
Welcome to the 10th Annual Marysville Marine Haiti 5K Walk/Run: Christmas in July run! This fun, chip-timed 5K is located at Travis Price Park on its beautiful, shaded FLAT greenway. Race course begins near the bandstand inside the park and goes to turnaround past Legion Field and back. For kids we have a 1 mile Fun Run and Bounce House to play in while parents walk or run. Cross the finish line in a flurry of snow (don't worry - we'll snap your photo), then stay and grab a bite or a shaved ice from our food trucks!
Every participant will receive a medal with trophies going to the top 3 winners in each age group. Overall male and female winners receive $100. Wear your festive Christmas gear because we have cash prizes for the top 3 best 5k Costumes ($100, $50, $25). Trophies for top 3 best costumes in Kids' Fun Run.
All money goes to support Emmanuel Haiti's ministries in and around Jeremie, Haiti. Each participant's bib will feature the name of one of the children we support in Haiti.
