New For 2024 - Road Bike Category – You can choose to race either TT Bike or Road Bike for all of the categories.
Road Bike Definition - A road bike can possess drop or straight handlebars; no tri-bars, clip-on bars or Spinaci bars are allowed; no disc wheels; both front & rear wheels must have at least 12 spokes each; the maximum rim depth allowed is 90mm.  Note: the spirit of this new Road Bike category is to encourage more participation in MATTS events by creating a more even playing field for racers who don’t have a TT bike. In general, if your bike would be eligible for a road race or a criterium, it would qualify for the Road Bike category.

Note: If you are competing in the ABD Memorial Day Omnium, you must ride the Road Bike Category for this TT.  MATTS points will go towards the Road Bike Category.  If you're otherwise competing in the TT Bike Category, you can ride a second race in the TT Bike Category.
