5 Mile and 2 Mile Run
The Mineral Point Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for the 43rd annual Gettin' The Lead Out Historic Run - Your choice of a 2-mile or 5-mile course through the beautiful historic Mineral Point.
Day-of registration begins will be from 7:00 -7:30am and the race begins at 8:00am SHARP. Walkers welcome, too!
Include your age, T-shirt size, male or female, 2 or 5 mile run/walk in the comment section. If you register before June 1, 2024 you will be guaranteed a t-shirt.
We will have extra shirts on hand the day of the event, as well but no guarantees, so please register before JUNE 1.
This course is extremely hilly! Water will be available at the 2 and 4 mile marks and a hose will be available at the finish line. Restrooms are available at the park and the swimming pool will be open after the conclusion of the event. Shirts are included in the registration fee.
The award ceremony will follow the race. First place finishers in each division receive a commemorative mug from Brewery Pottery; second place finishers receive a medal. Ribbons will be available for all participants age of 12 & under.
