MSUFCU Dinosaur Dash

The fast, flat 5K road race is a fall-time favorite!

The competitive 5K run/walk begins and ends near the MSU Museum. Dashers compete in several different divisions and dinosaur trophies are awarded to overall male and female winners in both the running and walking categories.

Three special runs are designed for the younger crowd: the Museum Mile for youth 12 and under to run or walk a one-mile loop along the Red Cedar River;  the Mini-Dash, a 200 yard dash for kids 6 and under; and the Diaper Dash, a 200 yard dash for kids 3 and under. All finishers of the Museum Mile, Mini Dash & Diaper Dash receive an official Dinosaur Dash award medal.

5K Run/Walk……… 10:00 a.m.
Museum Mile……….11:15 a.m. (one mile run for ages 12 & under)
Mini-Dash……………11:30 a.m. (200-yard run for ages 6 & under)
Diaper Dash…………11:45 a.m. (200-yard run for ages 3 & under)
After the race celebrate National Fossil Day at the MSU Museum from noon – 4:00 p.m.!
