About the event
This beautiful course runs through the park all on paved roads under tree canopies, along the shores of Myakka Lake. This is Real Florida. This course will be USATF Certified. There will be a great after party and lots of perks! This race will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association – Florida Gulf Coast.
At BlingRunners we are very passionate about helping to find a cure for this atrocious disease. On April 1, 2015 Kimberly Hussey, co-owner of BlingRunners LLC, lost her mother to Alzheimer’s. She was only 68 years old.

This race is not about a shirt and a medal. It's about funding research to find a cure for Alzheimers. Find it in your heart to make a donation in the name of a friend or loved one, over and above your entry fee. Just donate when prompted. (This is not required but very much appreciated) All registrations will receive a great shirt and finishers will receive a really cool medal!
