National Safe Digging Month 5k

April is recognized by Congress and most Governors across the U.S. as National Safe Digging Month (NSDM). Because it's the time of year when temperatures increase in many parts of the country and spring digging projects begin, April is an important time to remember how important it is to contact OKIE811 at least a few days before putting a shovel in the ground. 

Do you DIG running?  To help raise awareness, OKIE811 is hosting a 5k this year this year on April 13th, 2024.  Come run around scenic Stars and Stripes Park at Lake Hefner, in Oklahoma City on a USATF Certified course.  

Race will begin at 9am.  Check-in and vendors will be setup at 8am.

Medals for the first 100 to signup! Shirt orders available until April 1st.

Bring your biggest cheerleaders to visit with damage prevention and excavation stakeholders. Will have live entertainment, heavy equipment, and more!

Money raised will go to United Way of Oklahoma City.
