ABOUT THE BEGINNER GROUP

Our FALL TRAINING PROGRAM kick off soon!


The Informational Meeting for the Fall 2017 Beginner 5K program will be Monday, Sept. 11th & Sept 12th at 7:00 PM at NGRC-Cumming.

While attendance is not mandatory, it's a great chance to learn more about the program, ask questions, and meet coaches and mentors. The first group run of the 5K program is Saturday, Sept 16th @ 8am

The NGRC 5K program is great for beginner runners or walkers. The structured training program will help you cross the finish line in just 10 weeks! The goal race is the Thanksgiving Day Gobble Wobble 5k. A Walk/Run option is also available with this program for those looking to tackle their first race, or to get back in shape. Although the program is tailored towards beginner runners, all are welcome! Coaches and mentors will provide motivation and support along the way.

The program meets Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7pm and on Saturday mornings at 8am for group runs led by a coach and/or mentors.
