OAT Summer Challenge

Explore the Olympic Adventure Trail (OAT) and get big rewards!

Plus, a portion of each entry fee will be donated to Peninsula Trails Coalition, a local non-profit organization that is involved in the construction and maintenance of, and advocacy for, the Olympic Discovery and Olympic Adventure Trails.

The Olympic Adventure Trail is 21.2 miles of sweet single-track on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. By signing up for the OAT Summer Challenge, you commit to completing the entire course (24.7 miles total because there is a 3.5 mile road section on the far west end to access or exit the single-track) on between June 18, 2021 and the end of the Challenge on September 19, 2021. Participants can run or walk and can complete the course in one session or in different segments over the summer.

What's the reward?

A beautiful adventure on one of the best trails on the peninsula, followed by a free beer (or non-alcohol beverage) at Harbinger Winery, where you will pick up your custom Olympic Adventure Trail bag and t-shirt, and a couple other little treats! Bag and t-shirt printed locally by Convergence Shop.

How does it work?
1. Sign up for the challenge. The price is $35 ($20 for youth)
2. Complete the entire length of the Olympic Adventure Trail, in one day, or spread out over the whole summer. Maps, access point parking information, and GPS tracks are provided when you register.
3. After you complete the entire length of the trail, post a photo of yourself in front of one of the Olympic Adventure Trail directional signs that are found all along the trail (and any other cool pics that you take!), and tag our Instagram page @peninsulaadventuresports and #OATSummerChallenge. Or on Facebook, post to the OAT Summer Challenge Event.
4. Then pick up your Olympic Adventure Trail swag bag and free beer at either Harbinger Winery in Port Angeles - show your social media post to claim your reward!
