ORRC Hagg Lake Run

Run or walk the paved bike path around scenic Hagg Lake for 10.5 miles or do an out and back 5K/10K.  There are a few hills.

Awards

Plaques to overall winners (open and masters) and ribbons five deep in 5 year age groups.  All participants and volunteers are eligible for random prize drawings, including pies.  Must be present to win.  Awards will not be mailed.

Course

The 10.5 mile run iis one loop around the lake on the inside (paved) bike lane.  The 5K and 10K are out and back (counter-clockwise, then clockwise).  All races have a few hills.  This event is part of the ORRC 5K and 10K Series.

Headphones/Strollers/Dogs/Age Limit

The use of personal listening devices is strongly discouraged.  Strollers and baby joggers are permitted, but should start in the back of the pack.  Dogs are not permitted.  We discourage anyone younger than 14 to run the 10.5 mile.

Location

About 6 miles south of Forest Grove on Hwt 47.  Follow signs to Henry Hagg Lake, take the first left after the toll booth and cross over the dam. Drive 4 miles to the start/finish at Boat Ramp C.

Parking

Park admission fee is included in the entry fee. We will email a parking pass before the race and hand out passes at Boat Ramp C.  The pass must be displayed on your dashboard.

Race Results

This race is chip timed.  Results are published  in the Oregon Distance Runner magazine, at www.orrc.net

Registration

Mail-in registration must be postmarked by May 1st.  Online registration closes 48 hours before the race.   Fees for all races are $30 for ORRC members and $35 for non-ORRC members. Day of Race fee is $45 (no ORRC discount).  Registration is non-refundable.
