Parkside Great Pumpkin Run

Parkside School will be hosting our tenth annual race – The Great Pumpkin Run – on October 28, 2017, at 9 a.m. This will be a fun 5K run through Baileyton, beginning at the school and ending at the park. All ages and experience groups are invited. Child care will be provided at no cost for parents who wish to participate in the 5K. Don’t like to run? Walkers are welcome! Want to sleep in? You can buy a T-shirt and we’ll hold it for you at the school.

The male and female winners (overall and masters) will receive medals and prizes, and the top three runners in each age group (under 10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+) will receive medals. Every runner will get a goody bag! We are upgrading our timing system this year, and results will be posted online.

Everyone registered on or before October 14 is guaranteed to receive a race T-shirt. Extra shirts will be distributed to runners who register on race day on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pre-registration for the 5K is $20, and race day registration is $25. Students and education system employees are eligible for a discount.
