Pedal Therapy CX

Race and Course Info:

Brand new for 2023 is Pedal Therapy CX at Lake Anne, VA. The venue is located on the Throttle Therapy rental property which consists of 93 acres of dirt bike tracks and wooded trails. This is the most exciting new venue in years for the VACX series and it has the potential to be a large scale event similar to GO Cross. With two days of racing we will be able to feature two completly different courses to fully use the best that the property has to offer. The terrain on the property has a bit of everything including rolling hills, short steep climbs, and technical double track.

Event held under USAC permit, 2023-7912. USAC rules apply. All Riders must have a USAC license. USAC beginner one-day license can be purchased at the event. If you are Cat 4 or above then you must purcahase an experienced one day license online through USA Cycling. The Race Director and Race Officials reserve the right to cancel and/or modify segments of the event as deemed necessary for safety. There is no rain date for this event. Severe weather may cancel race.     

Registration:

On-Line Registration until Friday, October 20th at 2:00 pm or day of registration up until 30 minutes prior to your race. Day of registration is $40 for the first race and $10 to add an additional race.

All races are part of the Virginia CX (VACX) points series. Prices for entry are based on Individual races.
*Series Winners must pre-register and email me with your Category to receive $6.55 entry.

Event day registration opens at 8:30 am.

Course Address, Parking, and Camping:

Parking is available in the grass fields adjacent to the course. Signage will be posted directing spectators and participants to the proper areas for parking.

Camping spots are available on the property in limited quantities.

We have 10 tent campsites available that can take 2 tents each for $20 (1 night) or $40 (2 nights).

We have 11 RV / Camper / Van sites available for $30 (1 night) or $60 (2 nights).

These are dry camping sites meaning there are no water hook ups. Portable toilets will be onsite for campers use. Each site includes a firepit and a bundle of wood with additional wood available to purchase. The campsites are located in the cut hay field. There are no gravel or concrete pads. In the event of excessive rain and dangerously muddy conditions the RV / Camper / Van sites will be moved paved parking lot of the house on the property.
