The Phoenix Fast 5000 Meter Classic - Built for speed!
Sunday October 22nd - at 9:30 AM at Phoenixville Area High School's lightning fast track!
No frills - no gimmicks - no novelty - just a chance to run the fastest 5000 meters of your life! The race will be run exclusively on the track (12 and a half laps) with FAT timing. After training through the summer and fall, come and see just what kind of time you can run in an environment built for top performance.
The race will be self-seeded - come to the race, fill out your goal time by 9 AM, and you'll be placed in a heat with other individuals (regardless of gender) seeking to run a similar time (within reason). Heats will be run slow to fast.
Cash prizes to top finishers for men and women!
Registration is 20 dollars until October 1st - 25 dollars up to and including the day of the race. Day of race registration begins at 8 AM.
