The Pi Mile is put on by the MSU chapter of Phi Sigma Pi National Honour Fraternity to benefit the nonprofit Help A Willing Kid Foundation (HAWK). HAWK is a program that works to help underprivileged youth in the Lansing area. This is done through things like providing meals, mentoring, providing school supplies, tutoring, aiding in filling out job applications, and much more. All proceeds of this race will go to help improve the lives of many children in need.

The Pi Mile covers a scenic route through the East side of MSU’s campus, with stretches along the Red Cedar River. Families can enjoy a 1K kids run with activities after such as crafts, face paintint, trick-or-treating, and a costume contest. Please come out to enjoy a run and support a good cause!
