Poker Run 5k race and 1 mile fun run at Durbin Crossing

Lace up your shoes and put on your poker face for Durbin Crossing Poker Run 5k and Highest Card 1 mile fun run.

 

Here's the details:  Runners/ walkers will leave from Durbin Crossing Amenity Center for this great fun and unique event. 

What is a poker run?

5k Runners will run 3.1 miles through the scenic Durbin Crossing neighborhood - on route - you will pick up 5 envelopes. Inside the envelopes will contain a playing card. At the end of the race we open the envelopes and runner with the best poker hand wins $50 cash. 

What is a highest card race?

The 1 mile Highest card runner/ walker will pick up a single card and the person with the highest card will win $25. Ace is highest and if its a tie it will go in order 1. Hearts 2. Diamonds 3. Spade 4. Clubs

5k Runners also will awarded based on time with gender and age groups 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and aged 60 years and over. This will be a professionally chip timed event by Florida Race Day LLC.    All Participants will also receive a Running series t-shirt, 5k finishers medal, downloadable 5k finisher photo, door prize and door prize drawing.    Register Early as this event can sell out and please share with your friends :)
