Polidor 5K Run and Walk

THE POLIDOR 5K RUN/WALK 2016 for literacy in Limonade, Haiti
Saturday,1st October 9 a.m. Walk, or run, in solidarity with all the market women and peasant farmers in Limonade who, like Polidor, are struggling to become literate. We will each walk in their names. At Carnival time, participants in our literacy program undertake a cross country walk. They celebrate literacy, recruit more learners, and dance and sing along the way. Ours will be a companion walk to raise funds for shared meals at the literacy sites. Profound malnutrition is widespread in rural Haiti.
