About the event
The 13th running of The Providence Marathon will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2020. This exciting race day in DownCity Providence will host a marathon, half marathon, 5k and kids fun run.
The Marathon will start at 7:30 a.m. Sunday in Downtown Providence, Rhode Island. The Half Marathon will start at 8:00 a.m. from the same location. The 5k will follow at 8:15 am and the kids race with take off at 8:20 - all from the same great downtown running festival.
The marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston Marathon Qualifier.
Please Note: The Providence Marathon will be happening rain or shine. Because of the logistics of planning for a race of this size, we cannot offer refunds for any reason. In the event that weather is severe enough to create an unsafe environment for participants, organizers will cancel the event with no refunds issued.
