My Favorite Race Events is proud to announce that Publix will be presenting the 5th annual Publix Family Fun Day 10K/5K/1K.
We are also proud to announce that Christian Brothers Automotive will once again be hosting the event at their beautiful facility at The Shoppes at Price Crossing in North Port. It’s going to be a fantastic morning featuring a Crazy Hat; Derby Day themed 10K, 5K timed road course and a 1K walkathon all to support the Florida Compassion Foundation, The Woodland Middle School Band and the Rescue Garage.
Race Directors Tracy and Kim Hussey and everyone at "My Favorite Race Events, LLC, are making this an excellent day for the entire family.
Dress in your Craziest Derby Hat. After all, it is Kentucky Derby Day!
Fun and games for the kids of all ages, including everyone in a crazy hat, get a raffle ticket, and one of you will take home a custom Crazy Hat Day, Corn Hole game with Bags!
We will also have the inflatables and a climbing wall, to keep the kids entertained while mom and dad eat, drink and enjoy time with friends at the After Party.
(remember you still need to be able to run in your hat)
The Woodland Middle School Jazz Band will be performing!
Age group awards go 3 deep. First, Second and Third place medals will be awarded.

All runners will receive a Finishers Award and a great a Race Shirt.
You must be registered by April 10 to get a Race Shirt.

Transfers and Deferrals will be allowed up until April 10, 2020, and will cost $15.

Parking for the Event will be in front of the Publix Supermarket, 1251 South Toledo Blade Blvd., North Port, Florida. Parking is free. Walk to the sidewalk along Toledo Blade and cross Price at the crosswalk. Do not attempt to cross Price anywhere but at the light. Please do not park anywhere around Christian Brothers, Walgreens, Advanced Auto Parts or Little Caesars Pizza or The Pink Tequila. You could be towed.
At packet PickUp, you will be able to pick up your Race Packet and goody bag. This will include your Shirt, Bib and a complete set of written instruction for the race day activities.
In our Race Store, you will be able to purchase an additional item to make your Race Day even more memorable.
The Big Dog 50/50 Raffle!
We will only sell 200 tickets! This will give you great odds of winning! Every time we reach 200 tickets sold we will draw a winner, award the cash and start the raffle over! If sold out the winner will go home with $2000 Cash!
At every race, we will draw a winner no matter how many tickets are sold and award 50% of whatever has been sold at that time and then restart the raffle!
Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased on our RunSignUp site, at Packet Pickup or on Race Day!

(If 200 tickets are not sold, the winner will receive 50% of however much is sold. As soon as 200 tickets are sold we will start a second Big Dog Raffle and all the same, rules apply!)
RACE REFUND POLICY
Your entry into this race is considered a Charitable Donation to the Florida Compassion Foundation. You can cancel your registration online within 15 minutes of registering and receive a full refund. After 15 minutes there are no refunds for any reason! This race has a NO REFUND POLICY. By registering, you are accepting and agreeing to this policy.
