$45 after 2/1/17, register on-site at the run, includes T-shirt (if there are any left by then)

The Publix Run To The Arts isn't just a race, it's a full morning of fun that kicks off Sunday morning at ArtFest Fort Myers with exceptional art, entertainment, and children’s art activities. Your registration fee guarantees you a spot in the race as well as lots of runners-only goodies.

You'll get your very own Run To The Arts t-shirt with beautiful art by ArtFest Fort Myers artist Leona Lovegrove. Register by January 6, 2017 to make sure you get your size! 

NEW THIS YEAR: Your choice of styles -- standard straight-cut with crew neck OR women's cut, shaped with cap sleeves and v-neck. Both styles are made of the same great high-performance quick-dry fabric.

Tasty Breakfast

Your race bib is your ticket to the post-race breakfast, featuring tasty Publix treats - muffins & bagels with all the trimmings; bananas; yogurt; coffee and a few surprises.

The Course

The course will begin and end on Bay Street at the corner of Monroe Street - front of Harborside Event Center.  The route will be Bay St. to Lee St. over the Calossahatchee Bridge and back the same route – that’s right over the bridge both directions.

With professional CHIP TIMING services by Endurance Sports Timing, you can have your results posted as soon as you finish the race.

Race Awards

ALL Awards (age group and overall) will be given based on CHIP TIME. There is a starting time mat and a finish line time mat. 94% of the responses to the Survey of Publix Run To The Arts participants said “Chip timing for all awards” - - you ask and we respond.

Medals will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age group. Plus awards or male and female overall, masters, grand masters, and senior masters.

Group Art Experience

After you've worked out your body, you'll have time to exercise your creativity. Talented artists will be on hand to involve you in a group art creation – optional of course.

You'll be entered to win one of more than 50 great prizes, including weekends for two at 'Tween Waters Inn, South Seas Resort and Key West ... theater and symphony tickets ... art classes ... gift certificates to Fort Myers River District restaurants ... and many more.

Video Finish Line

All participants can view themselves crossing the finish line - on-line with bib number access. Available in the afternoon after Publix Run To The Arts.

Art & Entertainment

Enjoy live music and be the first to sneak a peek at the artist booths on Sunday morning, even before the festival opens to the public.

Relax your mind and body with a pre-race yoga session taught by our friends at Soni Yoga of Downtown Fort Myers. 

Preferred Parking

Free runners-only parking will be available at West First Street and Carson Street - 200 spaces.
Look for the colorful signs. There is lots of other parking along West First Street and all over downtown. Street parking is all FREE on the weekend.


Packet Pickup and Race Day Schedule
Early Packet Pick-Up

If you've registered online, you can get your packet early complete with race bib and t-shirt and be all set for race day.

Two convenient locations:

    1. Fort Myers: February 2, 2017, 1-5 p.m. at Publix First Street Village,
        2160 McGregor Blvd. (downtown Fort Myers)
    2. Fort Myers: February 3, 2017, at Coastline Cyclery,
        10676 Colonial Blvd #50  (at Treeline)

Runners can pick up packets for their friends - just be sure you sign the distribution sheet. 

There will be a special Pick-up for registrations before January 6 - those with guaranteed T-shirts sizes. An email will be sent to you with time and location. (Packets can also be picked up on race day, but be sure to get there early!)

Race Day Schedule

7:00 - 8:00 a.m.  Race day registration and packet pick-up: Edwards Drive in front of Harborside Event Center. Photo ID required for packet pick-up.
8:15 a.m.  Race starts ... woo hoo!
9:00 - 9:45 a.m.  Breakfast, awards, Group Art Experience, and raffle. Be there for all the fun!
