Pumpkin Run 5k - Maryville College

Maryville College Exercise is Medicine On Campus Pumpkin 5k Costume Race / Fun Run

Runners of all ages and abilities are encouraged to dress up in Halloween themed gear for this 5k half trail, half road course which meanders through the Maryville College woods, partially on the MC Cross Country course, and then takes a lap around Maryville College's beautiful campus before finishing at Crawford House/ Mountain Challenge. Post-race festivities which include water and snacks, music, corn hole, the opportunity to try climbing the Alpine Tower. Prizes will be awarded for best Costumes and fastest overall male and female at Mountain Challenge’s sweet backyard outdoor fitness area.

Check-in will be begin at 4:00 pm at the Cooper Athletic Center.

To promote the Exercise is Medicine on Campus message, special pricing will be offered for all first-time 5K racers who pre-register online ($5.00). Enter code "FIRSTTIME" in the coupon/promo field during online registration. Pre-race registration is $15.00 and day of race registration will be $20.00. Registration includes a t-shirt, water and snacks on site, and the race itself which will be stopwatch timed.

RACE PACKET PICK-UP: Early packet pickup will be held on Thursday, October 26 and Friday, October 27.

T-SHIRTS: High quality t-shirts for all registrants. Participants registered by October 20, 2017 are guaranteed a shirt by race day.  Those participants register after Oct. 20 or on the day of the race will receive a shirt while supplies last. An additional order will be placed after the race for latest registrants and will be available for pick-up at Maryville College, Fayerweather Hall Room 223, Maryville, TN 37804

 

 

DIRECTIONS: From Knoxville, take Pellissippi Parkway or Alcoa Highway toward McGee-Tyson airport. Past the airport, bear left toward Maryville on Highway 35 (N. Hall Road) for 3 miles, then turn right onto 321 (Lamar Alexander Parkway). Turn left onto S. Court Street, then turn left into the Maryville College campus. Take your next two right turns, and park by the Cooper Athletic Center or baseball field. Race begins in front of Cooper Athletic Center and ends close by, at Crawford House/ Mountain Challenge.
