Race The Helix-Upstate

Join us for the sixth annual Upstate race, inspired by one family's desire to raise awareness for genetic disorders and funding for genetic research!


Saturday, March 28 at 9 a.m. at Lake Conestee Nature Park


5K trail run with chip timing (course can accommodate strollers and wheelchairs)--please be aware that an alternate course will be used for the 5K again this year due to a bridge being under repair on the nature trail


1 mile paved course for walkers, runners, strollers, and wheelchairs


Snacks, water, and coffee provided


Raffle will be held at the event--tickets will be available for purchase at the race


Performance T-shirts (unisex, ladies, and youth sizes available) guaranteed for all registrations received by March 9 and will be given to late and on-site registrants while supplies last


Preregistered participants will have an opportunity to pick up race packets on Friday, March 27 in the afternoon at the Greenville office of the Greenwood Genetic Center--details will be provided in the week before the race


Onsite registration will begin at 8:00 on the day of the race


Proceeds from the event will benefit the Greenwood Genetic Center Foundation

Join us after the race for awards, which will be given to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group.
Age groups for awards: 12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 and older
