Race to the Taste 5K - Charlotte

The Race to the Taste 5K will be held on Saturday, June 10 and will start and finish at the Taste of Charlotte Festival in beautiful uptown Charlotte! .

The 5K, Race to the Taste, will start at 9am followed by the Cupcake Run/Walk at 9:45am. The 5K course will follow the city streets Uptown for a beautiful skyline view. Runners can participate in the traditional full course 5K or can enjoy a lighter menu of the 1 mile Cupcake Run/Walk...grabbing cupcakes along the route - racing to the end or taking it slow enjoying their local cupcakes.

Making the race more appetizing, all Runners of the 5K will receive a premium UNISEX race shirt and awesome swag bag which includes a ticket to a Charlotte Checkers game, a Taste of Charlotte Super Coin that can be used to purchase any food item from any of the participating restaurants at the festival and more!  

T-Shirt and Swag Bag are not guaranteed to runners who register after May 23rd.

Participants of the Cupcake Run/Walk will receive a UNISEX t-shirt and cupcakes!! You can run or walk in both at a discounted rate and still receive a swag bag.

*Please note that if you register for both races at the discounted rate, you will only receive the 5K UNISEX T-shirt, not both t-shirts!  

Stick around after the race for awards, live music, a cold beer, more cupcakes and the kick of of Taste of Charlotte at 11:00am.

Taste of Charlotte has partnered with the Checkers Charitable Foundation again this year.  A donation will be made from the proceeds. The Checkers will be onsite with Chubby and the Checkmates to help cheer on the runners.
