About the event
Race to the Taste 5K is the newest event of EPIC Behavioral Healthcare.
EPIC Behavioral Healthcare was established in 1973 as a community-based non-profit organization. Licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families, EPIC was created to provide substance abuse prevention, intervention, outpatient treatment and aftercare services. EPIC also provides mental health counseling services under the supervision of licensed professionals. In addition, EPIC is an affiliate organization of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
EPIC is committed to assisting those on their recovery journey. We know that most people have been touched in some way by substance abuse and everyone has a substance abuse story - either their own or of a loved one. We hope the Race to the Taste - Race for Recovery will honor those on this challenging journey.
EPIC has hosted A Taste of St. Augustine annually. All proceeds from Race to the Taste will benefit EPIC Behavioral Healthcare - specifically our substance abuse prevention and treatment programs. To learn more about EPIC Behavioral Healthcare, visit us online at www.epicbh.org
