RACERS Superhero 5K

The 4th Annual RACERS Superhero 5K is proud to support our local community, with every dollar raised staying right here in the Twin Cities! Proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton Harbor. Now, more than ever, the Clubs need the support of our community to continue to meet the demand to provide a safe place for our youth to learn and grow.

This year's event will celebrate and recognize those DEPENDABLE Everyday Superheros that protect and serve us each day...whether it be armed forces defending our country, or our public safety personnel. After all.... SUPERHEROES DON'T ALWAYS WEAR A CAPE!

Public Safety Personnel and Active Military are eligible for a $5 discount on registration

Time: Kids 1K Fun Run 9:30 AM
              5K Run/Walk 10:00 AM
Where: Boys & Girls Club Joel E. Smilow Teen Ctr, 190 W. Empire Benton Harbor MI

Runners, walkers and volunteers encouraged to dress in costume! The route starts and finishes at the Boys & Girls Club Teen Center on Empire, and follows along Riverview Drive. NEW IN 2016... The 5K course will be USATF Certified and Sanctioned. Overall Male and Female Finishers in both divisions will be Official Course Record Holders! 

ENTRY FEES:
5K Run / Walk - Adults and Kids 15 and over: $20 through April 2
                                                                        $25 April 3 through noon April 21
                                                                       $30 Same Day Registration
5K Run / Walk - Kids 14 and Under: $15 through Race Day
Paid registrations include event t-shirt. Shirt not guaranteed for registrations received after April 17
Kids 1K Fun Run is $1 and all participants will receive a finisher’s ribbon (No shirt.)
SWMI RACERS members 15 & Over receive $5 registration discount through race day!

 AWARDS
Special awards will be given to the overall male and female finishers in both the run and walk.
5K Run - Medals will be given to the top three finishers in each age group.
5K Walk – Medals will be given to the top 10 male and female finishers.
Kids age 10 & under are eligible to win Superhero prizes by a random drawing of registered participants.
