RCC Take Flight

Rockingham Community College will host a fall community day, including the Take Flight 5K race, across the beautiful campus in Wentworth, North Carolina. Please join us for both!

The Take Flight 5K race will begin at 10 am. A t-shirt is included with race registration if registering before 9/11/23. After 9/11/23 the price will decrease due to not including a t-shirt. 

Community day events will take place until 2 pm, during which RCC will host campus and community booths, registration for RCC classes, food, and music. Participation in the 5K race is not required to attend the community day event.

5K race and community day attendees may park in the Whitcomb Student Center parking lot (Parking Lot D) shown on the map here. This lot is conveniently located adjacent to County Home Road.

New to running or need a 5K training plan? RCC's Faculty Wellness Committee recommends a free beginner training plan, found here.
