River Region Runners' "Argo" 8K and 2M Runs

EVENT INFORMATION: The R3 Labor Day Run has a NEW NAME, NEW DATE and another Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) championship! It’s now the R3 Argo 8K Run (“R3RG”) on the Saturday before Labor Day and the 2016 Alabama RRCA 8K State Championship for the second straight year. Otherwise, everything is the same for the race’s 33rd year. R3’s signature event features a challenging, scenic USATF-certified 8K (4.97 mile) course through downtown Montgomery and surrounding neighborhood. The start and finish for both the 8K and 2 Mile Run, along with post-race activities, is at Union Station, 300 Water Street.

R3RG START TIMES: 8K—7:30 a.m.; 2 Mile—8:45 a.m.; Kid’s Run (8 & under)—9:30 a.m.
Award Presentations—10:00 a.m.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION: R3RG registration is available at https://runsignup.com/ and via the U.S. mail. If you are entering both races fill out SEPARATE forms.
Entry fees are non-refundable.

T-SHIRT: R3 pirate mascot, Argo (“RRR-GO”), is on the front and on the run with a dramatic, full-body makeover, minus the hook, and still boasting in his “bubble!”
The number of T-shirts is limited and guaranteed only to pre-registered entrants.
