Come on out for Rochester’s first History Run! On this educational 4 mile run, you will learn about the purchase of the original 100-acre tract, the formation of Rochesterville, and the early notables, noteworthies, and movers-and-shakers of our community.

There will be four stops along the run, at which Bo will share interesting facts and trivia about Rochester’s rich history. Participants should be able to keep a 12 min/mile pace and will be able to regroup at each history stop before continuing.

The run will start and finish at Swiftwater Brewing Company where you can enjoy excellent beer and food after you’re done! The run will cost $5 and will be returned as a $5 gift card to Rochester Running Company.

Bo Shoemaker has an M.A. in History, a law degree from Syracuse University, and currently works as an Appellate Court Attorney at the NYS Supreme Court.
