Rock N Run 5K/10K benefiting Little Smiles

Do you want to kick some asphalt for charity? Run like a rock star? Meet some new friends? You can do all of that while supporting two great local organizations – The Rotary Club of Lake Norman-Huntersville and Little Smiles!  Join us in Birkdale at 8:30 a.m. on August 27, 2016 for the Rock ‘n Run 5K/10K benefiting Little Smiles.

Your race experience will include live music and prizes for the top finishers.  Not a runner? No problem. Take part in the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. We welcome participants of all abilities and ages. Walk, trot, shimmy, jog, hop, jump or run – get to the finish and support the cause! Proceeds from the run will benefit children in local hospitals, hospices, shelters and other like facilities.  

Little Smiles: a volunteer driven, non-profit 501(c)3 children’s charity. Their mission is to help kids in local hospitals, hospices, shelters and other like facilities. With the guidance of local professionals such as doctors, nurses, child life specialists and social workers, they strive to help kids escape their unfortunate circumstances, even if only for a short period of time. August 26th from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST

Packets will include a race bib with disposable timing chip, safety pins, and a tee shirt. Runners are guaranteed a t-shirt if they register by August 6th. Packets may also be picked up at registration on race day between 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.

1st – 3rd overall male and female

1st – 3rd male and female for the following categories: 11 and under, 12-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60 and 60+
