Little elm rock the doc

Rock the Doc honors Dr. Robert J. Dennington, the highly regarded orthodontist. A longtime Little Elm Resident, Doc was an esteemed community leader who served on the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and was the first orthodontist in the town. He passed away from complications of lymphoma on September 23, 2008. This race celebrates our beloved Doc and all that he represented in the community.

All proceeds from this event benefits the Little Elm Area Food Bank. 

About Little Elm Food Bank:

Has provided emergency food assistance to local families since 1984

Staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers

Relies entirely on donations, can food drives and fundraisers

Averages over 200 individuals serviced per month

Demand continues to increase with Little Elm's growth

Helps finance Kids Eat Free Summer Program providing over 11,000 lunches during the summer

Christmas and Thanksgiving Baskets helped an additional 350 families
