Run For Liberty 5k and 1-Mile Fun Run

Run or walk in honor of our dedicated Military Personnel & Veterans. Deck yourself out in a patriotic costume and show off your American spirit! Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed! Medals and prizes to top runners in various age categories. Now in its fourth year, this event had almost 200 entrants last year. The entrants are expected to increase this year as the Run for Liberty is now part of the 2016 Second Empire 5K. Participants run or walk in honor of our dedicated Military Personnel & Veterans. All profits go directly to The Amputee Coalition, a national non-profit 501(c)3 organization. The Amputee Coalition is the nation’s leading organization on limb loss, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for amputees and their families.
