Run For Life- 5k - Cherokee

Maverick's Tsalagi Sunshine and 8th Generation Athletic Association have partnered up to host the 1st Annual "Run For Life" 5k to bring cancer awareness to the community. This year's 5k is being held in memory of Virgil Ledford who passed away on May 26th after a brief battle with cancer. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Maverick's Tsalagi Sunshine and 8th Generation Athletic Association to assist with reaching their organizations' missions. We invite you to participate to honor and support those who have battled or are currently battling cancer. We would like for participants to represent the cancer(s) that has affected them by wearing the coordinating color(s).
