Run For The Horses 10K, 5K, 1 Mile (Fun Run) - Virtual 2021

This is your chance to RUN for our horses! Join us, along with JackRabbit Ridgewood to raise much needed funds to help rescue and rehabilitate abused and neglected horses.  You get to choose your run: 10k, 5k, or a 1 mile Fun Run!  We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit and all proceeds go directly toward our mission of Caring for Horses Mind, Body & Soul. 

The first 200 registrants will receive a custom-designed BCHR Run For the Horses race T-shirt! Be sure to register EARLY.

Here's how:

Select your distance/courseRun when it's convenient (better yet, run with a friend!) Time your run and record your timeTake a photo of yourself wearing your race bib!Submit your time/results along with your photoPost your photo on your personal social medial sites using the hashtag #BCHRRunForTheHorses

Once you're registered, you've got 6 days to complete your designated race distance between April 25 and May 1.

ABOUT BERGEN COUNTY HORSE RESCUE

Bergen County Horse Rescue's mission is Caring for Horses Mind, Body and Soul, and our focus is rescuing and rehabilitating horses in need.

Our beautiful 17-acre farm provides a safe and healthy environment for our rescues to live and interact in a herd community. We provide reconditioning and behavioral training for horses who are fit and healthy in order to place them in a forever home where they can be loved and cared for. For horses that are no longer capable of working due to a disability or old age, our facility provides a tranquil and safe sanctuary.  All horses not adopted out will always have a loving home at Bergen County Horse Rescue.  

Our vision is to generate awareness within our community about equine care as well as be an environmentally conscious resource through educational tours and visits with our horses.
