Run for the Trails - 5k - Bozeman

Please join us on June 15th, 2019 at 10:00am for the Run For The Trails 5k. This race was organized by Nomi Friedman and Maya Keefer, with lots of help and support from many, many generous people and organizations. Run for the Trails is in support of GVLT, all proceeds form the race will be donated toward them. If you choose to participate in this race we will also be logging all miles run on the GVLT trails challenge. If you are unfamiliar with this challenge, basically a bunch of generous organizations put an amount of money into a "pot," then runners like you log their miles. Every mile spent on GVLT's trails equates to a dollar donated toward GVLT. If you choose to partcicpate there will also be prizes and a raffle of GVLT and Bozeman Running Company merchahdise. 

Race details: Packet pick up will start at 9 am. Then, the race will start at Lindley Road. It will run through varying trails up to the top of Peets hill and then turn around. At the bottom of Peets hill runners will run along the sidewalk towards the library. Runners will then run back through the park and run down the grassy hill to the finish in Lindley Park. Afterwords there will be a gathering back in the park where there will be pizza and snacks. Strollers will be allowed but are encouraged to be in the back. Please do not bring your dogs no matter how cute they may be. Thank you so much, and we hope to see you there!
