About the event

Join Phi Chi Theta and The Matthew Bittker Foundation in their first annual 5k benefiting Pediatric Cancer Research.

One of Phi Chi Theta's members, Jason Bittker, lost his brother, Matthew Bittker, in 2007 after an 18 month battle against Neuroblastoma. Matthew leaves behind a wonderful legacy and an inspiration to us all to make a difference. The Matthew Bittker Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity organization, was established as a living tribute to the warm hearted boy who touched so many in his short life. Unfortunately, there is not enough money being donated to fund pediatric cancer research. We need to help bridge this funding gap, and discover more effective treatments for Neuroblastoma and other forms of pediatric cancer.

Join us to provide children hope that they can become adults - Run for What Matters!

More information about the organization can be found on the It's What Matters page.
