Run The Runway Memorial 5k and 1 mile Kids Run

NOTE:  The route for the 5k is still pending approval by the CO of MCAS Cherry Point.  There are many factors going into approval for the route, but we are working to get a route published as soon as possible.

***On-site registration IS AVAILABLE and will take place until approximately 15 minutes before the start of the run on race day.  On-site registration will take place at the runner check-in table at the VMAQ-2 hangar.  On-site registration fee is TBD, and we will accept cash or card.  If you register on-site, your technical shirt will be available 1-2 weeks after race completion but must be picked up (sorry, we are unable to mail out shirts due to keeping costs down in order to maximize funds donated to charity).  PLEASE ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE START OF THE RACE.

Do you want to run down a runway on a Marine Corps Air Station?  Do you want to support our nation's heroes?  Then this event if for you!  As part of the VMAQ-2 and EA-6B sundown week, this event will offer you the chance to run by the areas Prowlers have called home for over 40 years.  This event will be an exciting, one of a kind event in that it will only happen once, during the VMAQ-2 and EA-6B sundown week.  It will offer runners the opportunity to run the runway at MCAS Chery Point and relive some of the former and current homes of the Prowler.  The race will benefit a charity TBD.
