The Girl Scouts of Putnam Valley invites everyone to join them on May 1st to promote healthy habits and exercise! 5K Run/Walk open to everyone 10 years old and older!
Tagalong Sprint for children 3-9 years old!

What is the Run Your Cookies Off 5K Run/Walk?

The Putnam Valley Girl Scout Community is creating this event to provide a service to our community. All members of the Putnam Valley community are invited—participants do not have to be Girl Scouts to join us. We are aiming to promote the importance of healthy habits and exercise.

How will the Girl Scouts participate?

Girl Scouts can either run/walk in the 5K or volunteer during the event. (Volunteers will: check-in participants prior to the race, distribute water during the race, direct runners, help with kids activities, etc.)

Girl Scouts can spread the word!

Girl Scouts should spread the word about the 5K!  When registering, participants will be able to write the name of the Girl Scout who referred them. The Girl Scout with the most referrals will receive special recognition.

Registration

Pre-registration: $15 (ends April 12th)
Registration: $20 (after April 12th & Day-Of Event)
Tagalong Sprint: $5

Course

The course will make one loop around beautiful Roaring Brook Lake. The terrain is flat in areas but has a few hills.
Timing and Scoring provided by the Taconic Road Runner’s Club!

Awards

Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers in each age bracket (age bracket: 10-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+).
Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in each age category.

All kids in Tagalong Sprint will receive ribbons.
Top 3 finishers in Tagalong Sprint will receive medals (age bracket: 3-5, 6-9 yrs old)
