About the event
5K loop through Laurel to benefit Step In, a program designed to increase community awareness of suicide prevention and the importance of mental health. Participants can race or walk the course and enjoy the after-race activities. The race starts and ends at the Laurel Sports Complex. The post race activities include a pancake breakfast, music, a kids' run on the track, and booths with acitvities and information about crisis intervention.
