The Pi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi will be hosting its 11th Annual Sarah Anderson Live.Laugh.Run. 5K on March 21, 2020. Kappa Kappa Psi is a national honorary fraternity dedicated to serving college and university bands across the country.
In November of 2009, The Auburn University Marching Band lost a fellow band member in a tragic car accident. Sarah Anderson played piccolo and was a brother of Kappa Kappa Psi, The National Honorary Band Service Fraternity. Kappa Kappa Psi is hosting a 5K run on March 21, 2020 in honor of Sarah. All proceeds from the Live.Laugh.Run. will go directly to the Sarah Anderson Memorial Scholarship Fund. This fund allows for our chapter to award a scholarship at the end of each Fall Semester to a deserving band member that best exhibits the qualities of our Fraternity.
Registration is $25 and will be open up until the day of the race, but you must register by March 6th to be guaranteed a shirt. Refreshments and door prizes will be given out after the race.
The event will begin on the Haley Concourse. Registration begins at 8:30am and the 5k beginning at 9:30am.
If there’s any questions please let Terra McCoy, Kaitlyn Hardy, or any brother know!
