About the event
Join us for our SARR Member & Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast & 5K Ugly Christmas Sweater Fun Run/walk.
***There is a $5 registration fee per person. Participation is limited to SARR members and their family members.
We'll start with a 5k fun run/walk (no chips, no bibs, just enjoy). Then we'll socialize and partake in a light breakfast while we recognize some of our outstanding members and volunteers.
The 5K Ugly Christmas Sweater Fun Run starts at 8:30, then eat around 9 a.m. and start our member and volunteer appreciation around 10 a.m.
This year we're asking everyone to don their ugliest Christmas sweater/shirt for the 5K Fun Run. Who has the ugliest sweater? We'll have to wait and see. There will be awards for top awesome outfits....so bring your best.....or worst!
No sweater, no problem, wear any Christmas attire and if you have a Santa hat, wear it too!
We'll have lots of prizes, a DJ, and lots more, so come on out and join us with our fellow SARR members....even Santa will be joining us!
The event will be held at Mission County Park, Pavilion #2 located at 6030 Padre Drive.
