Shennel's Smile 5K Fun Run/Walk

“I remember I would hear her voice in the kitchen on random days of the week.  I would walk in and Shennel would be standing there in her running pants with her huge smile”.  Shennel was a victim of domestic violence.  In her death she left her daughter, two step-sons, a large close-knit family and a world of friends.  We, her family would like to do our part to help prevent domestic violence.   In her honor and memory, we are hosting a 5K race called ”Shennel’s Smile”.  Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Family Violence and Rape Crisis Service in Pittsboro, NC.
