Shining Lights 5K and 1 mile Fun Run

Join us for the 2nd Annual Shining Lights 5K run/walk and 1 mile kids fun run starting at the iconic Blue Bonnet Palace in Selma, TX. All proceeds benefit Positively Impacting Communities, Inc. (PIC). Your participation will help teens continue to shine a light by helping others. 

Since 2016 PIC and Positively Influencing Everyone (PIE) Club volunteers have been providing packages of produce, meat and non-perishables to families in need as the Christmas and summer breaks began. The Shining Lights 5K helps fund their efforts. 

Race participants receive:

Souvenir Race tee (guaranteed to everyone that registers before April 10, 2018. After that limited supply will be available - first to register, first served) Enjoy Great Finish Line Food - Breakfast tacos courtesy of Bill Miller Bar-B-Que Goody bag - reusable grocery bag with goodies including energy chews

Awards will be given for:

Best Costume (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) Best Group Costume (1st and 2nd place) Best Overall Male/Female Finisher Top Male/Female Finisher in each age group
