Spring Carnival 5K

As we celebrate Carnegie Mellon’s largest annual tradition, Spring Carnival and Reunion Weekend 2023, we hope you will join your fellow Tartans around the globe for the 2023 Spring Carnival 5K! Compete, spectate and celebrate virtually wherever you are throughout the week, or in Pittsburgh on Sunday, April 16.

Virtual
If you choose to run the virtual race, you may complete the 3.1 miles from anywhere around the world while celebrating Spring Carnival and Reunion Weekend 2023. Run with your family, walk with your dog, skip with your fellow Tartans or stroll over that “finish line” on your treadmill. Keep an eye out for information and updates on in-person celebrations hosted by our regional networks around the world. 

In-Person
Run, walk, roll or stroll: Do the 5K your way. However you plan to move, register now to join your fellow Tartans for our first in-person Spring Carnival 5K! Join us on the buggy course in the wee morning hours of Sunday, April 16,  the course will weave through Schenley Park and parts of Oakland with plenty of  fun photo opportunities!
