St Clair River Turkey Trot (5K Run)

This is the 13th annual running of the St Clair River Turkey Trot.  Onsite walk-in registration and check in for those that pre-registered (preregistration is strongly advised) begins at 8:00 AM with race start at 9:00 AM at the St Clair Plaza Central Court on 201 N Riverside Ave in beautiful downtown St Clair.  The race begins by traveling North on Riverside past Palmer Park in full view of the beautiful St Clair River.  The river at this location is about 1/2 mile wide and carries in excess of 1 million gallons of water every second!  After running up a mild hill, the race winds thru a nearby subdivision and eventually returns the runners to the finish line precisely where the race began.  The final stretch is a mild downhill run just before you reach the end.  All proceeds from the race go 100% for charitable purposes.  The race is professionally timed with wireless RFID tags.  This race is endorsed by the Michigan Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and is a qualifying race to enter lottery for State of Michigan run across Mackinac Bridge on labor day the following year.  Runners shirts only guaranteed for those that PRE-register by 10/18/19.
