Credit : DicasteroSport Lugano 5260 runners took part in the different races organzied in Lugano this weekend. This was the first edition of the half marathon. The 30 km race was changed into a more traditional half marathon. Half Marathon Kipchoge Cosmas Jairus scored victory with a time of 01:00:55. He finished 2 seconds ahead of Nicholas Mulinge Makau. Rounding out the top three was Tadesse Abraham with a time of 01:01:24. For the women, Dekeb Haylemariyam Muliye got a win, finishing with a time of 01:09:45 , ahead of Charity Kiprop (01:12:34).
